January Career Workshops
Having trouble finding a job? Want to look for a better job? Need help updating your resume? Dreading the interview process? These workshops are for you! This series includes job searching, resumes, interviews, and will conclude with a Job Fair. Join us Monday nights at 6:30pm durring the month of January for this great series!
And at 6pm Monday, January 30th a representative from CareerLink will join us to share information about services availble in our area. Also, area businesses will share information about their staffing needs and the skills/training required to fill those positions.
Beach Party Bingo Teen Night
Friday, January 20 @ 6:00pm Jade Heasley will be returning to talk about her new book How to Rule the World. She will have copies available for purchase and book signing. This is also our Beach Party Bingo night; come dressed in your beach gear and vote for the best theme-dressed participant. Bring your favorite snack to share. Prizes will be awarded.
A new program for Middle School Students
On Saturday, January 21 @ 1:00pm kids ages 9-12 will get to participate in our Science Detectives program, where they will perform science experiments and learn about how forensic science helps police solve crimes. This will be an ongoing program on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
