NEW! National Foster Care Month-

Monday, May 19 @ 6:30 pm- NHS Human Services will host an informational evening on foster care and adoption in our area.  Dawn Warren, Program Director of the Susquehanna Center, will be speaking.  Reservations are encouraged.  mhwrapl@windstream.net or 538-1381.

      

NEW! Adult Literacy Workshop

       Did you know that 1 in every 3 adults in Northumberland County cannot read or write at an 8th grade level?  20% of all Americans are functionally illiterate.   

Tuesday, June 3rd @ 3 pm- the CSIU : Susquehanna Valley Literacy Cooperative will be sponsoring an informational workshops to identify volunteer tutors, students, family, and friends, who might need assistance in reading.  Reservations are encouraged by calling 538-1381 or mhwrapl@windstream.net.

Summer Reading Program runs from June 14 - August 20.  Stop by the library today to register and pickup a calendar of events.

Community Spotlight

Thursday Evenings @ 6:30pm - each week, local residents will talk about their careers, hobbies, and what the Warrior Run area means to them.  This program is FREE, open to all.  Light refreshments will be served.

Montgomery House is the Public Library for the Warrior Run Area, specifically serving the boroughs of McEwensville, Turbotville and Watsontown, and the townships of Delaware and Lewis.
